Basic Member:
All businesses located in our district have basic membership. Basic members are listed on the Business Directory page with contact info and address.
Featured Member:
Businesses located in our district who support BABA through normal association dues.
Normal Dues:
- $35 (not for profit businesses)
- $45 (0-1 staff)
- $75 (2-5 staff)
- $100 (6-10 staff)
- $200+ (11+ staff)

Membership Benefits:
Monthly board meetings - We gather information from area businesses, city officials, police, and guests to make the Belmont district a great place for your business. Meetings are held at The Historic Belmont Firehouse, 900 SE 35th Ave, on the second Thursday of each month from 9:00 to 10:30am.
Safety - We work with police and specialists from the Office of Neighborhood Involvement to help businesses and residents implement crime prevention strategies.
Public voice - BABA is a conduit to city officials on issues such as signage, zoning, parking meters, traffic, and advocacy for eastside streetcar on Belmont.
Last Wednesday Mixers - A networking event for the district.

BABA Website - BABA's new website has more interactivity, highlights of Belmont Area businesses and information to help our area collaborate communicate and thrive.
Social Media - BABA has an open group page on Facebook where you can post news and events for your business. Having a sale? Let us know. Post photos of your events in the Belmont Area.
List-Serve - BABA's e-mail contacts to keep you informed of events.
Area Banners - and public art to distinguish our area. New Banners were installed in July 2012!
Venture Portland - Since 1986 Venture Portland has invested in the smart, strategic growth of Portland’s unique neighborhood business districts. These dynamic districts, which together make up a majority of the city’s businesses and nearly half of its jobs, play a vital role in Portland’s economic prosperity and collectively represent local, regional, national and international demand for goods and services.
Grants - Through Venture Portland and SE Uplift to upgrade storefronts, make area improvements, and sponsor projects.
Involvement - You are the eyes and ears of the Belmont area. Please bring your ideas to a board member or to a meeting! We encourage you to become board members and support our growing community! Help yourself, help your neighbor, help our area thrive.
